Thai Cuisine Goes Global

07 June 2018

Thai authorities are determined to promote the nation’s traditional cuisine internationally, according to Deputy Prime Minister Khun Somkid Jatusripitak. Jatuspitak was speaking at Thaifex — World of Food Asia exhibition held between 29 May and 2 June.

To achieve this ambitious goal, the commerce ministry will finance the Kingdom’s rebranding as a global destination for foodies, and train Thai chefs to promote Thai cuisine at the international level.
