Thailand’s Interior Ministry is set to double visa-on-arrival fee for visitors from 19 countries on 27 September. The ministry will raise visa fees for tourists from Andorra, Bulgaria, Bhutan, China, Cyprus, Ethiopia, India, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Maldives, Malta, Mauritius, Romania, San Marino, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan. The new visa-on-arrival fee will be THB 2,000 (about EUR 51) from THB 1,000. The visa permits a stay of up to 15 days.
