Euromonitor International has named Bangkok the world’s second most visited city. The Top 100 City Destinations Ranking 2017 report was released on 7 November during the World Travel Market in London.
The Thai capital attracted 21.2 million foreign travelers during the first three quarters of 2017, overtaking London and Singapore in the ranking. Bangkok’s results were up 9.5% compared to the same period of 2016, and the number of visitors is steadily growing.
Hong Kong topped the ratings this year.
